The JigSaw Puzzle of Life

Hello to all and welcome back to the blog,

It struck me the other day, that perhaps we expect too much of life?

Or rather, perhaps we expect too much from our role in it?

That is – what if we are just one tiny piece of the puzzle and the rest is supposed to remain a mystery?

A mystery that enables us to keep on searching for those final pieces of the puzzle.

A mystery that is destined to never be solved.

A mystery that serves us well, by forever creating new twists and turns and a sense of searching.

Perhaps we are all like a giant jigsaw puzzle that takes forever to complete – but when you get to the end  you realize that there is still a piece missing.

A piece that has somehow escaped the box and fallen under the couch ha ah ha.

A piece that is destined never to be revealed.

A piece that will somehow always remain hidden.

Perhaps we are all a jigsaw puzzle that remains perfect in its imperfection and ” incompleteness”.

And if that is the case – why do we invest so much time in “stressing out” when our puzzle is not complete?

Perhaps it is not meant to ever be complete?

Perhaps a few pieces are meant to lie unseen under the couch, in order to keep us searching?

Perhaps the finding of that final piece would render us void of potentiality? Void of the need to develop and grow and seek and become what we are destined to be?

So – today – I encourage you to raise your glass and make a toast to the incomplete “puzzling nature of You” – for perhaps – just perhaps – we are all little incomplete jigsaw puzzles.

Finding the pieces we can.

Accepting what we do find.

And rejoicing in those little lost pieces of our puzzle that create the impetus and mystery for our self discovery this time round on Planet Earth.

So go forth and find what you can – but do not expect to ever find and see the full picture – because maybe you are perfect without that final piece of your puzzle.

Enjoy the mystery.

Enjoy the incomplete picture.

Enjoy the not knowing.

For perhaps that is simply how it is meant to be.
