Humanity! A living breathing treasure!

Hello to all and welcome to the Blog,

Today I have  little bit of commentary to lift your spirits, as you blaze into another working week.

And I am really excited to present to you my latest concept – not for your agreement necessarily – but certainly for your  contemplation and consideration.

And this concept is, my friends –  That humanity is indeed a living treasure.

Just like the Great Barrier Reef, we represent a large expanse of intelligence and creativity and evolution that is quite simply breathtaking, when fully acknowledged for all its diverse parts.

But I feel that perhaps many of us have been hoodwinked into only seeing the chaos, cruelty and crippling commercialism of our current world.  In my opinion, a very one sided and quite frankly – biased view of what we humans bring to The Planet.

We represent so much more.

We can give so much more.

And we do.

More and more I find myself speaking with people who have given up on Planet Earth.

People who are disillusioned by what they see around them.

People who are fed up by the status quo.

But we need to remember that we have created the status quo. And we are perpetuating all that we do not want, unless we actively seek and move towards what we do want.

The media, politics and advertising, seem to have us all in their clutches and most people appear to not be able to look away and/or move away, to that safe, peaceful and happy place they wish to be.

But I say to you today – do try to move away and do try to look elsewhere.

There is so much beauty to be seen.

It is all around us-  but just not celebrated or disseminated by our media or politicians and one has to wonder why that is?

Could it be that we are all easier to control en masse if we feel hopeless and disenfranchised?

Could it be that a distracted population of ” reality TV watching” and ” trashy magazine reading” people, are easier to dupe into thinking that they can never be good enough to measure up? Hence buying into a heap of things they do not really need?

Could it be that there are actually millions of incredibly talented and creative people on the Planet – but it serves the establishment better to raise some up as ” super stars ” so the rest of us feel uninspired and ordinary and fall into a dazed sense of  inevitability in life?

Well I say we all need to ” wake up”.

Perhaps our natural state is one of creativity and JOY?

Perhaps our natural state is actually one of positivity, caring and sharing?

Perhaps the arts and creativity are actually quite natural to most of us in some way, with most people feeling stifled and bored in these rather well defined and uninspired roles they have been squeezed into?

Perhaps we are now living in a world that actually goes against the grain of who we really are as a species, and that is why so many people are miserable?

Art, music, love, song, dance and the soul – this is, in my opinion what can bring our world together.

Instead of raising up the chosen few – let’s raise up the not so chosen many, who have the ability to touch our hearts and soul with the natural born gifts they were given. So many people with the ability to heal through their voices and art and music and the pure magic of creativity in a myriad of endeavours.

Why can we not see it?

It is all here to be given and enjoyed and shared.

Wake up everyone I say.

Humanity is a living treasure full of JOY and LOVE and MAGIC – we just need to choose to see it and embrace it and share it and celebrate it!

Art – joy – magic – dance – love – song – poetry – nature – beauty – sharing – laughing – caring!

It is everywhere.

It is not the rarity we are given to believe.

This beauty and talent and joy are actually the norm!

The norm that has been hidden by the commercialism, advertising and marketing, that wants to convince us that the world is bad and difficult and just for the chosen few. That most of us are not good enough, not clever enough, not beautiful enough.

Destined to be down trodden and in need.

Well I say – it is not the case!

I say there is a different paradigm that can exist.

You only need to look at all the incredible samples of life, as a human treasure, to appreciate the truth of who we humans really are:

  • all the competitors, on the plethora of talent and reality television shows, who touch our hearts and souls daily
  • all the people devising unique and incredible ways to help their fellow humans whether ot be through engineering, medicine, the arts, science or volunteering
  • all the people using their knowledge and skills to assist the Planet to regenerate in some way
  • the endless people donating their time and energies to make someone else’s life a little better
  • all the amazing buskers and street artists we see on every corner, bringing light to our days
  • all the amazing graffiti and street art that abounds and lifts our hearts
  • the kindness and support shown when there is crisis and people come together from all over the world to help

This beauty resides everywhere – it is all around us.

But we somehow fail to see it.

Fail to acknowledge it.

Fail to celebrate it and spread it far and wide.

So I say, let’s bring it to life.

Let’s gather and sing and paint and tell stories and be joyful!

Can it not be so?

Can we not choose a different path and be the Masters of a New Destiny?

Can we not be a living, breathing treasure called humanity!

Well I say – Yes we can!

This beauty and joy and creativity and soulfulness is all around.

We just need to choose it and tap into it.

LOVE and JOY and CREATIVITY

That is our natural state of being.

Wake Up Everyone so we can see it, breathe it, imagine it and become it once more.

Humanity is truly a living treasure.

It’s all around!
